Qbox is a combination of traditional Jukebox (physical component) and music streaming app (digital component). Aiming to support not only Queensland music industry but also the local community and businesses, providing various playlists which are free for commercial use.

Problem
How to support the Australian music industry to recover from the COVID19 disruptions and transform in order to be more resilient and productive in a post-COVID19 world.
Solution
We create a jukebox with built-in app (Qbox) that will be put in public venues. Each venue will receive a customized playlist with songs that match the vibe of the environment. All songs are from Australian emerging artists who need more reputations. These songs will be played by the designed jukebox and customers could interact with the jukeboxes (Qbox) by donating artists or operating the app on the jukebox's screen.

Research
The aim of Qbox is to make people immerse in public spaces with new songs. Providing people in Queensland an environment to access these arts in their daily life. The more opportunities the public listen to these songs, the more reputations emerging artists are likely to get.
According to Robert Zajonc, the mere exposure effect is the tendency to develop a preference for things merely due to being familiar with them, which means a person may start liking a new song after listening to it repeatedly.
